International Scientific Conference
On June 18, 2019 at 2.00 p.m. at the Conference hall (room 23) of Saint Petersburg Institute of History of the RAS (SPbIH of the RAS) will begin the International Scientific Conference “North-East Asia and Russia in the Second Half of the 19th and in the 20th centuries”. The conference agenda includes reports of scholars from SPbIH of the RAS, Institute of History of the Saint Petersburg State University, Regional Museum of Sakhalin Oblast (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk), the National Institute of History of Korea (Seoul) and Korea University (Seoul).

Regular session of the seminar “The history of the Soviet era” was held on June 4, 2019. the subject was “Leningrad case”: the study results and prospects”. the report were delivered by associate researcher D.Sc. in History, professor A.Z. Vakser, professor of the Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications D.Sc. in History V.S. Izmozik; associate researcher D.Sc. in History, professor V.A. Saint Petersburg Institute of History of the RAS invites you to the opening of the exhibition named “Russian style” (“Russkii stil)”. There will be presented paintings and drawings of artist Igor Vishnya.
